Who is responsible

When you buy

Checkout is run by Stripe through Stripe Managed Payments, and the sale is made through Link, Stripe's merchant of record. Stripe and Link collect your payment details, name, email and billing details under their own privacy policies (https://stripe.com/privacy and https://link.com/privacy). From Stripe we receive what we need to deliver your order: your email, your name if given, the items, the amount, currency, country and date, and the order reference.
We use these data to deliver your downloads and to send you emails about your order. Legal basis: performance of the contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) and our legal obligations. We keep order records for up to 10 years, as Italian tax and accounting rules require.

When you ask for the free plan

We collect your first name, your email and whether you ticked the box for tips and offers, with the date and the wording you agreed to. We use them to send the free plan you asked for (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). Only if you ticked the box, we may also send you occasional tips and offers (consent, GDPR art. 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw it at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to any of our emails or by writing to us. We keep these data until you ask us to delete them or withdraw your consent, and in any case for no longer than 24 months after your last contact with us.

When you write to us

We use your email and message to answer you, and keep them as long as needed to handle your request, up to 24 months.

Technical data

When you visit the site, our hosting providers process technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure (legitimate interest, GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). These logs are kept for a short time by the providers.

Cookies

We use iubenda to show a cookie banner and to record your choices. Right now the site only uses cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for it to work: we don't use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add them, they will only run after you accept them in the banner. You can change your choices at any time with the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page. Who processes data for us

• Lovable (website hosting, database and file storage through Lovable Cloud, built on Supabase)
• Cloudflare (content delivery and security)
• The email delivery service used by Lovable Cloud to send our order and free plan emails
• ImprovMX (forwarding of emails sent to support@pupdaybook.com)
• Stripe and Link (payments; for the sale they act as independent controllers)
• iubenda (cookie banner and records of your cookie choices)

Some of these providers are based in the United States or process data there. Transfers are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to support@pupdaybook.com. You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or to the authority where you live.
If you live in the United States: we don't sell your personal information and don't share it for targeted advertising. You can ask us what we hold about you or ask us to delete it at the same email.

Children

Pup Daybook is not directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
